ARSENAL JOINED BY HAMMERS IN PURSUIT OF FRANCE INTERNATIONAL

West Ham boss David Moyes has revealed his side’s interest in Sevilla’s Steven N’zonzi.
The former Stoke City midfielder had fallen out of favour with Eduardo Berizzo before the Argentine was relieved of his duties last week.
N’Zonzi reportedly fell out with Berizzo after Sevilla’s 3-3 draw against Liverpool in the Champions League.
The France international had asked for a move from the Spanish side with the Gunners interested in his services.
However, West Ham have now joined the race to sign the defensive midfielder.
“I think he’s somebody who would be of interest to us if he came on the market,” said Moyes (via the Sun).
“I wouldn’t say that about others, but he’s not playing for some reason at Sevilla – albeit the manager’s gone, so maybe that changes the situation there.”
N’zonzi has established himself as one of the leading midfielders in Europe since leaving Stoke in 2015. Should the Frenchman arrive in January, it could signal the end for Francis Coquelin’s spell at the Emirates.
