Arsenal on Alert: versatile Bundesliga midfielder ready to leave club this summer

Liverpool and Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of German wonderkid Max Meyer after Schalke confirmed the midfielder is considering options ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old versatile midfielder has been with Schalke his entire career as he has joined them at the young age and he progressed through the youth ranks to become one of the hottest prospects in German football.
Meyer made his name as a winger, however, has excelled since being converted into a central midfielder this campaign and is now a key part of Domenico Tedesco’s starting XI.
However, German midfielder’s future at the Veltins Arena is in serious doubt as he has one year left on his current deal with the Schalke and yet to sign a contract extension.

Premier League giants have been handed a boost as Schalke’s sporting director Christian Heidel has confirmed that German starlet is considering to leave the club after the end of the current campaign.
Heidel is quoted as saying by the Mirror:
“It is clear that Max and his advisors are exploring the market. And we’re not doing anything different.”
