GER-MONEY TALKS Mesut Ozil pledges £30,000 of his own cash at Arsenal charity ball as Gunners raise over £440,000

MESUT OZIL forked out £30,000 of his own cash to win an exclusive 'Invincibles' watch at Arsenal's charity ball.
The annual event, hosted at the Emirates Stadium, raised a whopping £442,734 to help fund a new coaching programme in the Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan and Indonesia.

Departing boss Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal players came together to donate £100,000.
Funds from A Night to Inspire were also raised to support local initiatives around the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal Legend Bob Wilson’s Willow, which provides special days for seriously ill young adults and youth homelessness.
The night was packed with special guests such as Mo Farah and was presented by Holly Willoughby.
Players and guests enjoyed a lavish meal prepared by Michelin star chef Raymond Blanc.

Arsenal players looked in good spirits as their signed boots and other memorabilia - including a signed fridge - went up for grabs.
But it was Ozil who stole the show when he was the highest bidder of the watch that was made in collaboration with Thierry Henry.

The successful evening was topped off with a performance from rock legend Roger Daltrey - lead singer of The Who and Arsenal fan.
Meanwhile Wenger, who will be celebrating his final Arsenal game on Sunday, grabbed the mic and revealed a European Super League is inevitable.
