Arsenal linked with summer swoop for Portuguese giants prodigy

The Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are all being connected with a summer move for Liga NOS giants Sporting youngster Ryan Gauld, who spent this season on loan at Desportivo Aves.
-
Team Talk state that the Premier League sides are all interested in the attacking midfielder, who has been called the ‘Scottish Messi’ in the past.
-
Ryan could leave the Portuguese giants for nothing this summer following an assault on the club’s training ground which left some players injured.
-
Members of the team, including Bruno Fernandes, William Carvalho and Gelson Martins, are now pushing to terminate their current contract, following in the footsteps of Portugal international Rui Patricio, who looks set to sign for newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers.
-
Ryan joined Sporting back in 2014 from Scottish club Dundee United. The youngster earned a lot of plaudits in Scotland but turned down interest from Premier League to move abroad to Europe.
-
Although, it has not quite panned out as Ryan Gauld would have hoped. He has made just a handful of matches for Sporting’s senior team and has seen most of his football in the reserve side or out on loan.
