Italian giants reportedly interested in signing Arsenal target

The Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly interested in landing Arsenal long-time target Gelson Martins, according to the British sports radio station TalkSPORT.
-
Martins is amongst a host of Sporting Lisbon players who have requested for their contracts in the Portuguese capital to be terminated after the team were attacked at their training ground.
-
The 23-year-old star had already been connected with a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs prior to the fiasco in Lisbon, and now is all-but-certain to play his football somewhere else next season.
-
The Gunners have been reported to be in pole position to land the winger, although it looks like AC Milan are equally keen on Gelson Martins.
-
The Gunners are looking to add to an already stunning attacking stash, which can boast Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, French striker Alexandre Lacazette, and Armenian forward Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
-
In all competitions, Gelson Martins appeared in 47 matches for his club last campaign, scoring 11 goals and picking up nine assists.
-
An extremely pacey forward, Gelson Martins has 16 Portugal caps, attained since Portuguese started playing for the national side in 2016.
