Arsenal handed major boost as club agree to accept just £15m fee for World Cup star – NOT Torreira or Banega

Arsenal are among a number of clubs who are reportedly interested in signing Mexican international midfielder Hector Herrera from FC Porto, according to TalkSport.
.
The Gunners have been handed a huge boost with reports claiming Porto have agreed to sell their star man for a fee that won’t be too difficult for Arsenal to stump out.
.
The 28-year-old midfielder is currently part of an impressive Mexican side who have made it to the knockout round of the World Cup at the expense of the defending Champions Germany after finishing second in their group.
.
The Gunners are short in midfield at the moment after the departure of Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere this summer, and are in need of reinforcements as new manager Unai Emery looks to revamp his squad.
.
Porto are said to want around £15 million for their captain if he is to leave the club, amid interest from some other Premier league sides and a number of Spanish teams.
.
West Ham and Everton are said to be interested along with Real Madrid, Real Betis and Sevilla according to Spanish daily Correio da Manha.
.
Arsenal have already brought in Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen and Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus to kickstart their summer business, they are also reported to have agreed a move for Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira, a situation which is likely to put a move for Herrera in doubt.
