Thierry Henry begins long road to becoming Arsenal manager?

.
When it was revealed that Arsene Wenger was leaving Arsenal, there were many supporters of both of our ex-players Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira coming back to the club as manager.
Vieira had already started over in New York City FC, but Henry has only been working as a part-timer really as assistant coach to the Belgium national side, who beat England in the Third Place Playoffs.
.
Now the World Cup is over Henry has decided to give up his job as a pundit to go all out for a manager’s role, and he tweeted : “Over the last 4 years I have had some extremely rewarding coaching experiences in football. These experiences have only made me more determined to fulfil my long term ambition to become a football manager.
.
“It is with sadness, therefore, that I have decided that I must leave @SkySports to enable me to spend more time on the pitch and concentrate on my journey to achieving that goal.
.
“I would like to thank everyone at Sky for making me feel so welcome and at ease throughout my time with them and I wish them all the best for the future. Great memories.”
.
So he has made his decision, and he has never hidden his desire to return to Arsenal. It is interesting that this has been announced on the same day that an interview with Arsene Wenger was also published, and Le Prof said in there: “Often, I’m asked if Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira will be good managers and I always answer ‘yes’. They have all the qualities; they’re intelligent, they know football, they have excellent skillset, but do they want to sacrifice what needs to be sacrificed. It’s an obsession which bounces around your head day and night.”
.
So it remains to be seen if Henry can really make the cut, but how many of us would love to see him return to us one day as our new boss?
