Arsenal striker travels to Italy to undergo medical ahead of shock Juventus transfer

Arsenal forward Stephy Mavididi is on the verge of completing a shock move to Juventus.
.
The 20-year-old has yet to ever really get a look in having progressed through the youth teams with the Gunners and had two loan spells last season, with Preston in the Championship and Charlton in League 1.
.
In all he made 26 appearances during the 2017/18 campaign, scoring twice - both during his stay with Charlton, where he also had a spell on loan a year earlier.
.
Mavididi is highly-rated at the Emirates but has yet to make his senior debut for Arsenal - and now he looks set to leave the Gunners and join Italian giants Juventus.
.
Football.london understands the England Under-20 international travelled to Italy on Thursday to undergo a medical with the Serie A champions. It is believed he will link up with the Turin giants' B side once his transfer has been finalised.
Mavididi will not be the first youngster who Arsenal have lost to an overseas club recently.
.
Marcus McGuane left the Emirates to join Barcelona in January, while Kaylen Hinds moved to Wolfsburg last year.
.
Meanwhile, Joel Campbell is on the verge of finally leaving Arsenal.
.
The Costa Rica international arrived in north London in 2011 but has never been able to stake a prolonged claim for a first-team spot and has been loaned out six times.
.
He spent last season at Real Betis in Spain, but returned in the summer and stated he did not want to go out on loan again, given he was into the last year of his contract in north London.
.
And he is now about to get his wish as he closes in on a permanent switch to Frosinone.
.
Campbell has now arrived Italy and will undergo his medical today before finalising his transfer to the Serie A newcomers.
.
And he will be joined in Italy by David Ospina, who should also complete his move away from Arsenal on Thursday.
.
A deal has been agreed between the Gunners and Napoli which will see the Colombia international spend the season on loan in Naples ahead of a proposed permanent switch next summer.
.
It is understand Napoli will pay a £900,000 loan fee for the 29-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Nice in 2014 for £3 million.
