West Ham complete another summer signing as Arsenal forward joins in £4m deal - report

West Ham United have reportedly completed the signing of Lucas Perez from Arsenal.
.
An arrival in the capital two summers ago, the Spaniard couldn't force his way into Arsene Wenger's plans during his debut season at the Emirates Stadium as he had the likes of Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez ahead of him in the pecking order.
.
As a result, Perez rejoined former club Deportivo La Coruna on a season-long deal in 2017/2018 where he netted nine goals in 37 appearances across all competitions.
.
Following the departure of Wenger as manager coupled with the appointment of Unai Emery has the Gunners' new head coach, the 29-year-old reported for pre-season training at London Colney and featured in friendlies against Boreham Wood and Atletico Madrid.
.
However, having not played a single minute of the subsequent games against Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Lazio it became apparent that the forward has no future in north London and would be one of those to leave before Thursday's deadline.
.
Sporting CP and Serie A outfit Frosinone were said to be interested in signing Lucas , but it would appear that the Hammers have won the race.
.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist, Nicolò Schira, the Irons will sign Lucas Perez and there have been some suggestions amongst the British press that the fee is in the region of £4m - meaning the Gunners are taking a significant loss having signed him for a reported £17m fee in August 2016.
.
A move to the London Stadium would take United's new signings up to nine in total and see Perez reunited with ex-Arsenal teammate Jack Wilshere - although the pair actually haven't played together.
.
Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop, Andriy Yarmolenko, Fabian Balbuena, Felipe Anderson and youngster Xande Silva have all arrived in east London as part of a busy summer of recruitment.
