Arsenal have joined Manchester City, Everton and Liverpool in keeping tabs on Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

According to the Mirror , the Gunners are among the teams tracking the player as he continues to impress in France.

A host of top European clubs, including Barcelona, have been alerted by his performances in Ligue 1 from both this season and last.

Premier League champions Manchester City had reportedly been at the front of the queue to sign him, while Everton also had scouts watch the player in action recently.

Lyon are now facing a battle to keep hold of the player that only joined the club permanently over the summer.

Ndombele has been a key figure in Lyon’s side, who have earned plenty of admirers in Ligue 1 recently, sitting second behind Paris Saint-Germain.

The midfield was one of the key areas that Unai Emery strengthened over the summer and it looks like his business in that position may not be finished just yet.
