Arsenal XI vs Spurs: TWO strikers- Lacazette and Aubameyang upfront in 3-4-1-2 formation

Unai Emery’s starting XI is all-the-more difficult to predict this week, with the Arsenal manager having rolled out a 3-4-2-1 in the Gunners’ victory over Bournemouth last weekend.

Emery could persist with that set-up with Mesut Ozil again missing out on a start or may revert to a 4-2-3-1 to accommodate Ozil and – if fit – Alexandre Lacazette: the French striker has been in training this week after missing out at the Vitality Stadium.

Rob Holding was the only member of Emery’s team from Gameweek 13 to feature against Vorskla on Thursday, though was withdrawn on 60 minutes with perhaps one eye on the north London derby.

Sokratis could perhaps be the centre-half to miss out if Emery switches to a flat-back four.

Alex Iwobi may have to compete with Henrikh Mkhitaryan for one of the attacking midfield spots, with the fact that the Armenian was part of the travelling party in Ukraine perhaps handing the advantage to Iwobi.

That Aaron Ramsey featured on Thursday also shows how far down the pecking order the Welshman is and the soon-to-be out-of-contract midfielder would seem likely to be among the substitutes at best for the visit of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Nacho Monreal (hamstring), Danny Welbeck (ankle), Laurent Koscielny (match fitness) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (groin) remain unavailable.
