Arsenal January target makes huge statement over his transfer move

Arsenal and Lazio target Wesley has insisted that he will quit Belgian side, Club Brugge this month, according to Inside Futbol.

The 22 year old striker has been in impressive form this season, scoring 10 goals in all competitions, including two in the Champions League.

His form has not gone unnoticed by a number of top clubs in Europe, with the likes of Lazio and Arsenal said to be interested in acquiring his services.

Lazio are reportedly working towards securing a summer move for him, but a possible move in January has been discussed in some quarters of the media.

The player himself has now come out to clarify his stand and insisted that he is not leaving Club Brugge until the end of the season.

“I spoke to my entourage ” the striker said.

“And we have decided to stay at Club Brugge until the end of the season.”

Lazio are looking to sign the player who has four and a half years left on his current deal for 20 million in the summer.

Arsenal on the other hand recently announced that they cannot afford to spend any money this January and could only look for loan deals.
