Why Ozil needs to Leave Arsenal

Why Ozil needs to Leave Arsenal This is mainly due to the fact that Ozil has all the abilities listed above but viewers only see these skills expressed at random bursts and perceive that he hardly performs well against the top teams.

It is now evident he is not a big game player. This is troubling considering the club pays £350,000 a week, for a player that is not consistent despite having so much ability. He isn't the player to carry the team when the going gets tough.

The Premier League is too competitive to afford the luxury of having a player on so much money and not performing as expected. The team does not have a creative midfielder, anywhere near  Ozil's skillset, but that could be a good thing. Ramsey is leaving, so maybe this is the right time for the club to reshuffle and work on building a team that actually fits the ethos of what Unai Emery is trying to achieve. Emery wants his team to press hard and work consistently to retrieve the ball when possession is lost.

This is not the type of player Ozil is, and at the age of 30, he will most likely not improve, as he's beyond his peak. If he knows that, maybe he can consider offers, and reduce the wage bill of the club. This might create opportunities to recruit other players that will fit this new mould.

A new manager means new tactics, and sometimes this means changing players around. Ozil is a solid player, the only problem is getting the most out of such a talented player. If he doesn't fit into the new manager's plans, then there is no point in staying considering his level of quality.
