Arsenal couldn’t have picked a better time to play Man United

Since Wenger’s old adversary Jose Mourinho was dumped by Man United, they have been playing brilliantly under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, and winning game after game to find themselves fighting for a Top Four place. That position will be under threat when they come to the Emirates on Sunday and Arsenal are hoping to leapfrog back above the Red Devils.

And although United are a bit of a bogey side for us, I think that we couldn’t hope for a better time to play them and the bookies make us 11/8 favourites to stop their unbeaten League run. The only game they have lost under Ole so far was the Champions League game against PSG and they are on their way to France to play the return leg tomorrow night. This could be a week too far for United and you will find that most of the

football betting tips are suggesting that they will lose tomorrow and then again at the Emirates on Sunday.

Arsenal have been fantastic at the Emirates and are unbeaten in the League since the opening day, and are in a rich vein of form themselves, but other than that we have to take into account that there are a whole raft of injuries hampering Solksjaer’s attempts to play his best team. The latest addition is our old friend Alexis Sanchez who is expected to be out for six weeks. Otherwise they have Anthony Martial, who has half a chance to return against Arsenal but Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Matteo Darmian, Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia could all join Sanchez in missing the trip to the Emirates.

Surely this is the perfect time for Arsenal to play our old enemies?
