Arsene Wenger ready to dip into January transfer

Arsene Wenger says he is willing to dip into the transfer market next month if he could find players that will improve his
Arsenal squad.
The Gunners are set to enter the January window with the future of star duo Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez still in doubt with both players yet to extend contracts that will expire at the end of the season.
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are keen to sign Sanchez whilst Ozil has attracted interest from Manchester United, Barcelona and Inter Milan. Arsenal have offered both significant pay rises without securing their signatures.
Arsenal have monitored several potential replacements including Schalke’s Leon Goretzka and Monaco star Thomas Lemar, who they tried to sign for £92million in the summer when Sanchez seemed bound for City.
And Wenger hinted he could make additions to his Arsenal squad midway through the season though he will not be conducting a significant overhaul to his side.
“You do not imagine that we will change 10 players in January,” the Arsenal manager told beIN Sports. “It’s 90 per cent that it’s the same squad.
“If we can find some additions to strengthen our squad we will do it. But we have a big squad, I think we have players of quality. We need just to stick together and fight as we can until the end of the season.
“I believe that we have to be faithful to the players we have at the moment.”
Asked about his star duo with expiring contracts Wenger added: “Sanchez and Ozil have a contract until June, that’s it.”
