Wenger speaks on reported £275,000-a-week offer for Ozil

Arsene Wenger has once again moved to address rumours regarding the future of his unsettled players in the squad ahead of the January transfer window.
The Arsenal manager has seen his side drop down to seventh in the Premier League following another frustrating result on the road against West Ham on Wednesday evening.
Dropping points at the London stadium was one of several worries for Wenger which includes the uncertain future of key midfielder Mesut Ozil.
The 29-year-old is yet to sign a new contract at the club even though reports from a couple of days ago suggested that he had been offered a new £275,000-a-week deal to extend his contract.
When asked if an approached had been made to settle Ozil’s future, the Arsenal manager maintained that he is working on keeping the German and Alexis Sanchez at the club.
“No. Negotiations are always going on with everybody.” Wenger said
“I said that many times [that I want Sanchez and Ozil to stay] and that’s all we can say.
“Is it two years to go? One year to go? Three months to go? The door is always open and for the rest I cannot tell you much more.”
