Arsenal youngster lands Barcelona deal

Arsenal youngster Marcus McGuane has joined Barcelonaon a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 18-year-old midfielder has madetwofirst-team appearances,inEuropa League winsoverRed Star Belgrade and BATE Borisovearlier this season.
Barcelona haveagreedto pay an undisclosedfeefor the England Under-19 international.
Greenwich-born McGuane is aproduct ofthe Gunners’ academy, having joined atunder-sixlevel.
Hehas since become a mainstayof Arsenal’s under-23 side but will now be part of Barcelona’s B squad.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmundstriker Pierre- EmerickAubameyang arrived atArsenal’s trainingcomplex on Tuesdayas his£60m move to the clubedged closer.
The 28-year-old is set to undergo amedical,having agreedpersonal terms with Arsenal,who themselveshavean agreement in principle with Dortmund.
However, the German club willonly allowthe dealto go aheadifthey canland areplacement.
That couldmean DortmundsigningArsenal striker OlivierGiroud, but if the Frenchmanjoins Chelsea instead,they may turn to Blues forward Michy Batshuayi.
