Arsenal ready to splash money for 26-year-old Napoli key star

Arsenal will have to fight off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea if they want to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli this summer, according to reports.
United and Chelsea have been tracking the centre-back for a while.
Way back in 2014 there were reports suggesting both clubs sent scouts to watch the then 23-year-old playing for Belgian club K.R.C. Genk.
As reported English outlet The Mirror interested clubs will make a move before the World Cup, and the long hold up has allowed Arsenal to join the race.
The Gunners sent scouts to watch the central defender last month. The media in Italy reported that the player himself would be interested in a move, as he likes the English club.
Manchester United could have a clear advantage with other EPL giants as the ex-Genk chief scout, Roland Janssen, who discovered the player, now works for Jose Mourinho’s side.
There’s also the fact that The Red Devils are the only team to be expected to have top-tier European football next year. Arsenal and Chelsea have both dropped out of the top four, meaning they need to win the Europa League and Champions League respectively to qualify for next year’s premium competition.
