Arsenal reps jet out again to make final assessment before signing this star DM

Arsenal have sent scouts to watch Oguzhan Ozyakup again, according to reports.
Last week It was reported that Arsenal scouts were present in the Champions League game between Besiktas and Bayern Munich to watch Ozyakup.
Turkish football via
Gunnersphere are now reporting that Arsenal sent scouts to watch Ozyakup in last weekends derby against Fenerbahce.
However just like the game against Bayern Munich, Arsenal scouts didn’t get the chance to watch the midfielder. The report claims he picked up a stomach bug ahead of last weekend’s derby and missed the game as a result.
The midfielder is said to be top of Wenger’s radar to strengthen the midfield ahead of next season and the fact he’d be available on a free transfer makes him even a more appealing target.
Ozyakup has developed into a top player at Besiktas since leaving Arsenal as a youngster in 2012. The midfielder was part of Arsenal’s youth academy before he was sold to the Turkish giants for just £450,000.
His development has been so rapid that Wenger has been impressed by the player he has become.
Arsenal will continue to monitor him until the end of the season before making a final decision on him.
