Arsenal joined the race to land Manchester United star Matteo Darmian at the Old Trafford. Darmian is nearing the end of his third year at Old Trafford. However, the versatile full-back has played just 81 games for United in all tournaments.
Having played on just 12 times this campaign, the 28-year-old will allegedly move on at the end of the season and Juventus are believed to be keen on the Italian international. Arsenal are also eyeing up a deal for Darmian as a possible replacement for Hector Bellerin, who is also interesting the Italian side.
A story has also claimed that Man United are keen on Bellerin, which could lead to a part-exchange deal taking place. Darmian can play in several positions like left-back but mainly plays as a right-back. Matteo won several titles with Man United including Europe League in 2016.
Arsenal already signed right-back Stephan Lichsteiner from Juventus and also want ot sign Sampdoria teenager Lucas Torreira, ahead of a likely £20m summer deal. Besides that, Bayer goalkeeper Bernd Leno joined the Gunners recent week.
