Arsenal linked with surprise summer swoop for compatriot of Petr Cech

Arsenal are one of several clubs considering a move for Gillingham’s Tomas Holy, with another Premier League sides West Ham United and Everton also keen
According to a report from the British national daily tabloid The Daily Mirror, as quoted on the Yorkshire Post, a host of Premier League teams, including Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace are keeping a close eye on the player.
Tomas Holy, who stands at a stunning 6ft 9in, enjoyed a successful season with Gillingham the previous term.
The 26-year-old star has emerged as a surprise target for the London-based outfit, who could look to add an experienced third-choice shot-stopper to their ranks
Matt Macey has recently left the Gunners on loan, while David Ospina is also looking set to leave to go in search of regular senior-team football.
Holy joined the League One side back in January 2017 from the Czech side Sparta Prague and has gone on to become a hit with the supporters there.
After originally only being purchased as competition for the club’s No.1, he would go on to make the spot his own.
